GoWithMe Ride provides a digital platform that connects independent drivers and passengers who are travelling in the same direction. We are strictly a technology intermediary and are not a transportation company.

All users — both drivers and passengers — are solely responsible for their own actions, decisions, and conduct when using the Platform. This includes:

• Verifying the identity and profile of the driver or passenger before a trip.
• Confirming pickup and drop-off locations clearly through the app.
• Using all available in-app safety features, including the SOS button and trip tracking.
• Exercising sound personal judgment before, during, and after every ride.
• Complying with all applicable Nigerian laws and road safety regulations.
• Never sharing personal financial details, passwords, or sensitive data with other users.

While GoWithMe Ride takes reasonable steps to verify users and promote safety, we cannot guarantee the behaviour, conduct, honesty, or safety of any user on our Platform.

GoWithMe Ride is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience resulting from your use of our services.

All ride-related payments must be made exclusively through the official GoWithMe Ride payment system within the app. This ensures your transaction is tracked, secured, and protected.

• Off-platform transactions (e.g., cash or bank transfers made outside the app) are strictly prohibited and are made entirely at the user's own risk.
• GoWithMe Ride is not responsible for any financial loss arising from off-platform payments, disputes, or unauthorised transactions made outside our system.
• In the event of a payment dispute for an in-app transaction, please contact our support team immediately at support@gowithmeride.com.

Our Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, services, or applications (e.g., maps, payment providers, social platforms). GoWithMe Ride:

• Does not control or endorse third-party content, products, or services.
• Is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or privacy practices of third-party platforms.
• Is not liable for any harm, loss, or damage caused by your use of third-party services.

We encourage you to review the privacy and terms policies of any third-party service you access through our Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, GoWithMe Ride, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:

• Physical injury, illness, or death arising from a trip arranged through the Platform.
• Property damage or theft that occurs during or after a ride.
• Financial loss arising from off-platform transactions, scams, or fraudulent users.
• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages of any nature.
• Platform outages, technical errors, or data interruptions.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GoWithMe Ride and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use or misuse of the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or any applicable law.
• Your interactions with other users before, during, or after a trip.
• Any content you post or transmit through the Platform.

GoWithMe Ride reserves the right to update or modify this Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated version on this page.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Disclaimer. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
